Absolute Nonsense

Ok, I get it, I should have known what I was getting into when I bought it based on the title alone. Call me a romantic. But this book is full of the most ridiculous sexist nonsense I've ever had the misfortune to read, and it is sadly written by a woman. The gems include "men are the doers, doing is their domain, women are there to receive and be gracious." Maybe Phyllis Schlafely wrote this under a synonym, I don't know. I have a sneaking suspicion the author, if she isn't Phyllis Schlafely, has no idea who Phyllis Schlafely is. She's been too busy writing about how a woman who isn't constantly dieting is a failure to her gender to learn anything about politics, sociology or history. The author claims that she is constantly being stalked by men. I have no way of verifying that claim, obviously, but if reaching that status means I "radiate feminine energy" by never raising my voice, engaging in a substantive conversation, or, apparently, having an opinion on anything, I'll stick with one relationship at a time, thanks. Honestly maybe this thing was crowdsourced on an MRA Reddit. That would explain a lot.

Guys, you have to read this!

This is a book that not only every woman should read to attract the man of her dreams, but also for every man to read to KEEP the woman of HIS dreams.
We guys are pretty dumb when it comes to women. Cat speaks to women in Make Any Man Fall in Love, yet I couldn't help but feel she was explaining to me what women are thinking and what they seek in relationships. She helped me reverse engineer what I and my former girlfriends messed up in our relationships. The fact that I won't repeat those mistakes now makes this a book an invaluable keeper, one that will be at eye level on my bookshelf for all my guests to see.
